Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Science in 1988 from Jacksonville State. After receiving my degree, I went on to teach elementary school for 12 years. I have also taught at middle and high school levels for a combination of 3 years. After teaching for some time, I decided to go earn my master's degree. In 2012, I graduated from Piedmont College. After taking courses in instruction and education, I feel that I am adequately suited to help instruct students. I have taught multiple subjects over the past fifteen years. These subjects include topics such as Math, Science, English, and Social Studies. I am confidant that I am able to teach any subject the student may need.I find that it is important to work with the student, and to make a plan to help them study and achieve. I know that every student is different, and I will tailor my teaching style to help each student with their needs. I know the difficulties many students will face and will use my background as a teacher to help build my style for that student. I will always go the extra mile, in order to ensure that the student will succeed in school and furthermore in life.In my spare time, I enjoy playing board games, reading, and working out.
